Henfaes Isaf is a beautiful, comfortable property in lovely gardens with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We loved learning about the history of the house, it is full of character and it felt like a very special place to stay. We enjoyed wonderful local walks both directly from the house and in the surrounding areas, as well as using it a base for visiting Snowdonia and the coast.
On a practical level the house is very comfortable and warm, with every detail thought of. The kitchen is well equipped – we were able to cook a full Easter Sunday roast! The children loved the playroom too, especially handy when storm Dave kept us inside!
Ian and Moyra were wonderful hosts. The driving instructions, house manual and local recommendations were excellent and Ian was proactive keeping us updated on anything we needed to know during our stay. The welcome goodies were very much appreciated too!
